A top-tier law firm is seeking a Tax Associate with 5+ years of experience to join its national tax practice. The group advises clients across all areas of federal, state, and international tax law, with a strong focus on technology, life sciences, and growth-stage enterprises.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with innovative clients across all stages of development, while collaborating closely with colleagues across departments in a highly integrated and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and corporate finance transactions

  • Support equity financings, technology transfers, and complex licensing and collaboration deals

  • Provide domestic and international tax planning strategies

  • Work closely with fast-growing companies in the tech and life sciences industries

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of tax experience, ideally within a law firm

  • Experience with M&A, capital markets, and cross-border transactions preferred

  • Excellent academic credentials

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Annual salary range of $365,000 – $435,000, based on year classification

  • Eligibility for discretionary merit bonuses
