Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate (Junior to Midlevel)

Role Overview:
An established law firm is seeking a junior to midlevel associate to join its Insurance Coverage Litigation practice. The firm handles some of the largest policyholder cases in the nation and maintains a busy caseload. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex insurance coverage disputes, collaborating closely with experienced attorneys in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Policyholder Representation: Represent clients in complex insurance coverage disputes, advocating for their rights under various commercial insurance policies.

Legal Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and inform client advice.

Drafting & Documentation: Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and coverage opinions.

Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and strategic recommendations.

Case Management: Manage multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring timely progression and adherence to deadlines.
Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

At least two years of experience in insurance policyholder matters at a reputable law firm or boutique, or one year of such experience combined with federal judicial clerkship experience.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $210,000 to $365,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Bonus: Eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
