Top Am Law 100 firm seeks talented IP & Technology Transactions Associates to join a dynamic, high-performing team. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated, business-critical transactions where IP assets are central drivers of deal value.
The practice group leader is particularly interested in patent litigation associates who are interested in changing focus and expanding their IP-related skills.
What you bring:
- 2-6 years of IP transactions and IP licensing experience
- Preference given for experience handling complex licensing other commercial agreements involving technology, software, and/or data components
- Preference given for experience using AI with IP/tech transactions workflows
- Preference given for patent litigation experience
- Active license to practice law
What you will work on:
- Provide counsel to a broad base of clients on complex transactional matters involving IP, technology, and data assets
- Support transactional workload that includes joint ventures, carve-outs, divestitures, M&A transactions, and investments across technology, software, data, and consumer products
- Draft, review, and negotiate IP and technology license agreements, IP assignments, software and cloud services agreements, and other IP and commercialization agreements
- Provide guidance on IP, data, and technology issues, including AI deployment and use, in connection with product launches, e-commerce, advertising, and media transactions
