Corporate Associate (4–6 PQE) – Private Equity, M&A & Capital Markets
Our client is seeking a talented Corporate Associate with 4–6 years of relevant experience to join its market-leading Corporate & Financial Services practice. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly regarded team that offers early responsibility, direct client exposure, and involvement in a broad range of sophisticated corporate transactions.
The successful candidate will gain experience across the full spectrum of corporate work, including private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets transactions. Associates are given significant responsibility from an early stage and work closely with partners and clients across a diverse range of industries.
Candidates should have experience leading due diligence processes, drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements and ancillary transaction documents, and managing transaction closings. Strong technical skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment are essential.
Key Requirements:
- 4–6 years of corporate transactional experience gained at a leading law firm
- Strong experience in private equity, M&A and/or capital markets transactions
- Experience supervising due diligence exercises
- Proven ability to draft and negotiate transaction documents
- Experience managing deal processes and coordinating closings
- Excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach and strong team ethic
