Midlevel Associate – Cyber/Data/Privacy Litigation & Regulatory Investigations

Salary: $310,000 – $390,000
A leading international law firm is seeking a midlevel associate to join its growing Cyber/Data/Privacy (C/D/P) practice group. This role will focus on litigation and regulatory enforcement investigations related to privacy and data security matters.
The C/D/P group is comprised of attorneys across the US, UK, Europe, and Asia, and is recognized for handling complex and high-profile matters involving consumer protection, data privacy, and cybersecurity.
Ideal candidates will have:

4–6 years of experience in regulatory investigations and/or litigation involving consumer protection issues, including matters before State Attorneys General, the FTC, or similar regulatory agencies

Experience defending data privacy and security class actions, such as those involving the Stored Communications Act, wiretapping claims, data breach litigation, and unfair or deceptive trade practices

A strong academic record from a nationally recognized law school

Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills

Comfort with technology-related legal issues and the ability to lead projects and communicate effectively with clients
