Salary Range: $260,000–$390,000 + bonus eligibility

Overview:
A leading U.S. law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3+ years of employment law experience to join its San Diego office. This role is ideal for an attorney experienced in employment litigation and counseling, ready to handle complex workplace matters and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of employment litigation, including discrimination, leave, wage & hour, non-compete, and breach of contract matters.
• Provide day-to-day employment and HR-related advisory services.
• Draft employment-related policies, agreements, handbooks, and compliance documents.
• Conduct workplace investigations and deliver employment-related compliance training.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to develop strategies and manage client matters efficiently.
• Work from the office approximately 60% of the time in accordance with team guidelines.

Qualifications:
• JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to practice in California (or eligibility to waive in).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in employment law, including litigation before state/federal courts or administrative agencies.
• Experience advising employers on compliance, drafting policies and agreements, conducting investigations, and delivering training.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize effectively.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings.
