Eden Rose are seeking a mid-level associate (3rd–5th year) to join our New York-based Latin America practice.
The role involves advising multinational corporations, financial institutions, private equity sponsors, and sovereign entities on complex cross-border transactions throughout Latin America.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on cross-border transactions involving Latin American jurisdictions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents.
- Conduct due diligence and coordinate with local counsel.
- Support transaction execution, closings, and ongoing client matters.
- Analyze legal, regulatory, and commercial issues affecting cross-border deals.
- Collaborate with partners and clients on high-profile regional matters.
Qualifications
- J.D. and admission to the New York Bar.
- 3–5 years of experience at a leading law firm.
- Background in Corporate/M&A, Capital Markets, Banking & Finance, Project Finance, or Infrastructure/Energy transactions.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and project management skills.
- Professional fluency in Spanish required; Portuguese is a plus.
- Experience with Latin America-related transactions preferred.
