Job Title: Employment Litigation Associate

The Firm
A leading national law firm is looking to add an experienced Employment Litigation Associate to its Jacksonville office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys hands-on litigation and wants to take on substantial responsibility across a broad range of employment disputes. The practice has a strong employer-side focus, including wage and hour litigation, workplace claims and agency matters.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ law firm experience in Labor & Employment litigation
- Strong experience representing employers in employment disputes
- Proven ability to manage discovery and develop litigation strategy
- Experience preparing, drafting and arguing motions
- Experience taking and defending depositions
- Experience with state and federal court proceedings
- Experience with wage and hour litigation, including FLSA matters, is preferred
- Familiarity with agency proceedings, including EEOC matters, is preferred
- Florida Bar admission
