The Firm:

A highly regarded law firm with an established Labor & Employment practice is continuing to grow its Woodland Hills team. The firm represents employers across a broad range of employment disputes and provides sophisticated counsel and litigation support to businesses facing complex workplace issues.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Employment Attorney looking to join a collaborative team where they can take on meaningful litigation work while continuing to develop their practice.

The Role:

The successful attorney will handle a range of employment litigation matters on behalf of employers, with the opportunity to work across both individual and broader employment disputes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Defend employers in employment litigation matters.

  • Handle matters involving FEHA, wage and hour disputes, PAGA and related employment claims.

  • Manage litigation matters through various stages of the dispute process.

  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery and other litigation documents.

  • Advise clients regarding employment-related disputes and litigation strategy.

  • Work collaboratively with attorneys across the wider practice.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of legal experience.

  • Experience in defense litigation or plaintiff-side employment litigation.

  • Experience with FEHA, wage and hour class actions, PAGA and/or insurance defense.

  • Strong litigation, research and writing skills.

  • Excellent communication and client management abilities.

  • California Bar admission in good standing.
